Godley Head

GodleyHead has a wide view, and you can encounter some small monuments along the way, such as early vacation houses and war-time forts, but there is no charming and relaxing scenery along the way. It is a good place for a family to relax and exercise.

This is a more suitable observation deck for looking at the distant landscape. Of course, there are no special facilities, which is the place where locals rest after hiking.

Some of the monuments that are not too long ago are very historical for New Zealand.

There are some no longer used forts, observation decks and other facilities, you can imagine that the war atmosphere at that time was very tense.
