The Love Temple: Plaosan Temple 🩷🇮🇩
Besides Prambanan Temple, there are another temple that becomes one of the most famous Temples in Yogyakarta, it named Candi Plaosan or Plaosan Temple. This temple is located in Prambanan District Area. So, if you come to Prambanan, don’t forget to going to this place too. It’s about 1KM from the Prambanan Temple.
Candi Plaosan was built in the mid 9th century by Sri Kahulunnan, what makes this place a must visit destination is this temple combine both Hindu and Buddhist religious symbols in their elaborate. Why is this temple combines both Hindu and Buddhist? because its built by a Hindu prince for his Buddhist bride in Central Java. And for now, this temple also known as The Love Temple (another name: Twin Temple).
There are 2 main temples in Candi Plaosan Area. There are woman temple and man temple, inside the temple are same but at the woman temple, the lightning is more bright than the other one. This place is really interesting, and has a beautiful story behind it, so make sure you don’t missed this place when you come to Yogyakarta.

The Pranza Temple Group is also a large-scale temple complex, located about three kilometers away from the famous Pranbanan Temple Group. There are more than 100 temples here, which are made up of Hinduism and Buddhism. It feels more like Angkor Wat in Cambodia. If you have enough time, I suggest you visit it.
Probably a hidden tourist attraction. Admission is cheaper than other popular temples. There are few people, so it is recommended for those who want to go around quietly and relaxingly.
Plaosan Temple group is another very worthwhile tourist attraction in Yogyakarta, and also a must for many tourist groups. Although the temple buildings deposited in the history are basically the same style, many details are quite beautiful. Especially the statues in the pagodas, the level of sculpture has reached a very high level, and their expressions are vivid. Lifelike and repetitive expressions are rare.
It feels more like Angkor Wat. It's not very big. Maybe they are relics of the same period of cultural and religious history. The Temple group is also a good blend of Hinduism and Buddhism.
Plaosan Temple Group is another very worthwhile tourist attraction in Yogyakarta. It is also a must-see attraction for many tourist teams. Individuals think it's more beautiful here.
