Photos of City Palace

This majestic city palace is built with balconies, watchtowers and forts. It is the largest palace in Rajasthan. The front wall is 244 meters long and 30.4 meters high. The view over the lake and the whole city from the rooftop on the upper level of the palace is amazing. After centuries of ups and downs, the building, which was originally a princely palace, is now divided into four sections for management. The main body of the palace has been built into the City Palace Museum (CityPalaceMuseum), which houses a large number of different types of historical relics. If you come here in the morning, you can see that under the sunlight, the entire palace is resplendent and magnificent. As soon as you enter the palace, you will find that there are furniture and decorations from all over Rajasthan, as well as Persia and Europe. And the surrounding walls are even more wonderful and ingenious. The peacock on the balcony on the upper floor is made of glass and mirrors, which makes people sigh at the infinite wisdom and superb skills of ancient craftsmen.
