The East Coast National Scenic Area has a super-long coastline with original ecology, and the terrain is rich in changes, including coastal terraces, beaches, gravel beaches, reef shores, offshore islands, capes and sea erosion platforms, sea grooves, sea caves, etc. The topographical structure of the east coast is characterized by three landscapes: Shitiping, Sanxiantai and Xiaoyeliu. The Xiuguluan River Ruisui is famous throughout Taiwan and is also a popular place for summer tourism. The area can be engaged in activities such as rafting, whale watching and diving.
