It is rare to get bad food in Italy, but it happened here. The proscuitto was like nothing I've tasted before, possibly because it had gotten old. The "buffala" did not taste right either. They were kind enough to provide another one, explaining that I mistakenly received one meant for pizza, still the fresh one did not have the creaminess of buffalo mozzarella. The rest of the dishes were ok, mostly forgettable. The squid and octopus were chewy and might have been defrosted. The ambience was fine (after they kindly turned off the TV), though suspiciously empty. The service was good (though it felt a bit tense). The prices were definitely too high if it hadn't been for the 50% off on TheFork. I expected more from a restaurant highly listed on TheFork.
