Chau Say Tevoda Temple Review

Although the temple is small in size, it is worth special attention to Chinese tourists because it is maintained by the Chinese task force. Except for the better preservation of the West Tower Gate, the remaining nine monolithic buildings are seriously damaged.

The temple of Zhousa and the Nongmah are very close. The Nongmah is one of the two complete and interesting to me, but they are all great. The temple of Zhousa is a small and ornate temple (like the size of a church). It’s not a popular attraction, but it’s worth a visit if you have time.

This temple is somewhat similar to the Tomaya next to it, reminiscent of the form of Angkor Temple. This place is small in architecture and scattered in shape. This is a very special temple, just east of Bayan Temple.

A beautifully restored temple on the small Angkor circuit which seems to get overlooked and bypassed by most tourists racing between Ta Prohm and Bayon. Definitely worth half an hour to check out. It is very close to the road.

The temple is dedicated to the God of Zhou Sa, so the French named it the temple of Zhou Sa. With the palace as the starting point, the main passageway is moving towards the east. There are two small temples of the same size on both sides of the road, which correspond to each other. To the south is the Temple of Zhou Sa. The Chinese team is responsible for the maintenance. 周萨神庙【Chau Say Tevoda Temple】，有资料说它是供奉周萨神的，也有资料说它可能是为纪念苏利耶跋摩一世而建或是与举行苏利耶跋摩一世遗留下的某种传统仪式有关。这只是一座不大的小庙，很快就看完了，不过这里对于中国游客来说，有特殊的意义，它是中国政府援助柬埔寨修复的第一期工程。当2008年5月我们第一次来到这里的时候，那时周萨神萨大部分搭满了维修的脚手架，那天刚好是星期天，我们没看到中国工作队的人员。第二次来，已经是十年后，这里已经变化好大，已被修复好，而且左手边还多了一个亭子，里面展览着中国工作队帮助柬埔寨修复的第一期和第二期工程的图片。亭子里面挺阴凉舒服的，走累了或觉得天气太闷热了，在这里看看工程修复的资料图片和顺便休息一下，也是挺好的。

吴哥大大小小的神庙中唯一一座由中国政府援助团修缮的古寺，面积不大属于精致小巧型的，残缺的还是蛮严重的，门口有相关修建经过和对比的介绍，纵观这么多修缮的古寺，感觉就是这座修整的痕迹太重，没有很好的保存历史印迹的精髓。
