｢ There is a monument of the birthplace of the beach ｣. It is along the road near Terugasaki Pool. I just don't know if this is the birthplace. But it remains the same as being a beach representing Japan. It seems that military doctor Jun Matsumoto preached the surroundings where swimming is good to improve physical strength and realized it. The large stone pagoda behind the stone monument is clearly stated as ｢ Professor Matsumoto Thanks Monument ｣.
