What people are saying:
Just a pleasure to stroll around the complex grounds, around the gardens and magnificent vistas. Entrance is free, parking is not. The museum has permanent and rotating exhibits. Many works of art and antiquities. Great place for an al fresco picnic. Although there's food sold on the premises, you can also bring your own. Time it so you don't miss the spectacular sunset!- November 2017

What’s one word to describe the Getty Museum? Massive! One might be able to see every single section and exhibit inside the museum for two whole days or more. Loads of interesting things to see but the best would be the view #california #usa

Going to Getty Center on weekends, there are still quite a lot of people. This is an art museum built on a hill, more like a large garden with many oil paintings and artworks. I love it because it is a place where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Los Angeles.
Getty Center does not require an appointment. After exiting the parking lot, it will go through security check and then make a ferry car up the mountain. The security checkpoint can get the explanation of the itinerary of the day, and can follow the above time to listen to the staff to explain.
Parking: 15/time
opening hours: Tuesday to Friday Friday, Sunday: 10:00am-5:30pm, Saturday: 10:00am-9:00pm, Monday and some important The festival is closed.

Additional Information
Introduction
The Getty Center is a large private art museum overlooking Los Angeles that was built with donations by American oil tycoon J. Paul Getty. The museum has a rich and varied collection including Greek and Roman statuary, Byzantine manuscripts, Renaissance paintings and other objet d'art, including Impressionist masterpieces by Van Gogh. There is also a large-scale natural park encircling the Getty Center. The design of the park and gardens is inspired by European horticultural tradition. Hundreds of rhododendrons form a huge topiary maze. This is truly a place where man and nature exist in perfect harmony.

Incredible architecture, great views of the city, fun tram that takes you into the mountainside. Great museum, but I love the gardens the most!
Free admission to the Getty Center. The only thing you have to do is pay for parking which is worth every penny. Great place to take family and have a picnic on the grass.
Very cool
The Getty Center is a wonderful museum and is very close by for those museum enthusiasts!
