Changtan Tourist Area is a nature reserve in Guangdong Province. It is located in the northeast of Jiaoling County, Guangdong Province. It is 5 kilometers away from Jiaoling County. It is a scenic spot for landscape scenery and Hakka folk custom. The area covers an area of 40 square kilometers, with wide waters and clear water. In January 2004, it was officially upgraded to a provincial nature reserve with a total area of 5585.7 hectares. The animal and plant resources in the area are quite rich, with more than 1,300 kinds of plants, 26 ancient tree communities, more than 2,000 ancient and famous trees, and the air ion content is as high as 166,500 ions/cm. The traffic in the area is very convenient. There are highways directly to the county. It is 10 kilometers away from Jiaoling County Exit of Guangmeishan Expressway, 50 kilometers away from Meizhou and 485 kilometers away from Guangzhou. It is a famous tourist area in eastern Guangdong.
