About Guigang: Guigang is situated on the Xunyu Plain in southeastern Guangxi, on the banks of the Xijiang River. It is one of southwest China's most important transportation hubs – the China-Myanmar gas pipeline ends in the city. Guigang is known as the 'lotus city' due to the large number of lotus flowers that bloom here. It has over 2000 years of history; today, the city is a booming inland port. Popular attractions include Longtan National Forest Park, Xishan Scenic Area, Nanshan Temple and Jiuling Lake.
