Photos of All Saints' Church

The Anglican Church was built in 1868, completed in 1871 and still in use today. The main building of the church is designed in the shape of a cross, built of stone inlaid, beautifully carved wood to strengthen the building. The brown walls and the red tiles on the sloping roof of the church complement each other, and the whole church has become a landmark building in the Galle Fort. Church style The overall style of the church inherits the Victorian Gothic architectural style, which is well-proportioned and small and exquisite. At the same time, in order to adapt to the local multi-monsoon climate, the interior of the church is decorated with stained glass parquet windows, and the glass windows are painted with stories from the Bible, which are quiet and moving. Outside the church is a small garden full of colorful flowers. There is a post office next to the church, and it is very convenient to send postcards.
