An ancient fortress amidst an arid landscape (somewhat)🏰 The Jiayuguan Pass is located in the northwest of Gansu Provinxe, and was a key hub for traffic passing along the Silk Road. Apart from the wall itself, which is part of the Great Wall, there are a few historical artefacts you can view!
