Photos of Guangyunmian Temple

Guangyun Burmese Temple is located on the north side of Mengdong Street in Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County, commonly known as "Xuetang Burmese Temple". The architectural style of the temple is largely influenced by the architectural style of the Han nationality. It retains the basic form of the Shangzuo Buddhist temple from the south, and is an organic combination of the Han-style architectural shape and the interior decoration of the courtyard of the Dai nationality. Except for the two giant dragons in front of the door, the woodcarvings of Guangyun Burmese Temple, the doors and windows of the whole hall in front of the temple are all made of openwork patterns, and the skills are extremely fine. There are 10 murals painted on the inner wall of the hall. Most of the murals are outlines of ink hooks and then filled with colors. The styles and techniques are similar to those of the works of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Most of the buildings in the painting are on the top of the mountain with double eaves, which belong to the architectural style of the Han nationality. Among them, the warriors wear crowns and narrow-sleeved shirts with horseshoe mouths, which are typical Qing Dynasty costumes.
