Xiang Mountain Temple

Zunyi Xiangshan Temple is located in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is located at the top of Xiangshan Mountain, surrounded by mountains in Honghuagang District and overlooking the Xiangjiang River. It has a good location, beautiful scenery and large scale. It was built in the Zong Dali period of the Tang Dynasty (766-779), and was renamed "Xiangshan Temple" because the temple embraces the Xiangshui River and sits on the Xiangshan Mountain. The whole temple is majestic and beautiful, with dense and dense layout, rigorous and lawful structure, red pillars and golden tops, and exquisite craftsmanship. There are three buildings on the central axis: 1. The Hall of Heavenly Kings stands at the front. 2. Double dragons support the tripod on the roof of the Daxiong Palace, and the flying dragons play in the water. The Daxiong Hall of Xiangshan Temple in Zunyi is the main hall of Xiangshan Temple, and it is also a relatively large building in the temple. There is a wide platform in front of the hall, the roof beam structure of the hall is majestic, and the arches in the hall are various. It is a wooden building with national tradition. There are five golden Buddha statues in the center of the hall, known as the Five Buddhas, which are the original works of the Jin Dynasty. It is the only Liao Dynasty building in Shanhua Temple that was not destroyed by war. The east side of the main hall of Xiangshan Temple in Zunyi is the ruins of Wenshu Pavilion, and the west side is Puxian Pavilion built in the second year of Jin Zhenyuan. Puxian Pavilion, with three bays wide and three bays deep, is a Liao-style pavilion with three squares, double eaves and nine ridges. The legacy of the pavilion. The detailed structure is similar to that of the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda built in the second year of Qingning in Liaoning (1056). The Three Saints Hall of Xiangshan Temple in Zunyi is the central hall of Shanhua Temple. The three statues in the middle of the hall are called "Three Saints of Huayan". The mountain gate is the main gate of the temple, and there are four statues of heavenly kings. These four Buddhist gods give people the impression of awe-inspiring inviolability.
