Guangwu Temple

More than a thousand years ago, Emperor Guangwu Liu Xiu fell at the foot of Yiyang Han Mountain to subdue the mighty Red-mei Rebellion, and built this royal temple at the foot of Hanshan Temple to record this important event. Over a thousand years, the Guangwu Temple has undergone many dynasties, and it is still sitting on the top of Hanshan Mountain, witnessing the changes of world affairs.

This is a temple to commemorate the Emperor Guangwu of the East Han Dynasty. It has a long history and is well preserved.

The Royal Temple House built after the emperor of the East Han Dynasty. Liu Xiu, Guangwu Emperor, surrendered more than 100,000 of the powerful Red-mei Rebellion, and has laid the imperial foundation of the East Han Dynasty for more than 200 years. The temple is a landmark building of the great historical event of the Red-mei Army.
