Admission is free and you can see the gallery and brewery making, but there is a charge for the experience. The goldfish lantern making experience is also done at Nobuo Kawamura's workshop as the white wall, and this is more authentic. Goldfish lanterns are hung all year round in many shops on the white wall street, and small sizes are sold as souvenirs.
