    "Water God"

    Original Text

Tsujun Bridge is famous as one of Japan's largest arched stone bridges. This bridge is a water bridge built by a person named Honosuke Fuda to save people living in this area who suffered from chronic water shortages 々. This shrine was a shrine dedicated to Honosuke Fuda, who built a stone bridge with his life, as you can imagine from its name. There was a stone monument written as "Mizukami" in the precincts that were damaged during the Kumamoto earthquake. Honosuke Fuda is like a "mizukami" for people living in this area 々.

A shrine enshrining yasunosuke Fuda, who created tsujun Bashi bridge

    Original Text

Near Tsujun Bridge, there was Fuda Shrine that stood quietly. This Fuda Shrine enshrines Honosuke Fuda, who built Tsujun Bridge in the Edo period. Even now, the water passing through the Tsujun Bridge seems to continue to moisturize the wide fields, so he is a great man of the local community. After visiting this shrine, we walked along the promenade to Goroga Falls. This shrine seems to be the starting point of the promenade.

It's a shrine near Tsujun Bridge, but ...

    Original Text

When I followed the navigation system to go to Tsujun Bridge, Tsujun Bridge was unable to approach due to renovation work. It is a shrine near the parking lot. I was worried about the stone monument called "Tsujun Soul". The shrine is small and quiet. There is no shrine office. It is a shrine related to Tsujunbashi, so if you are interested, please stop by. Personally, I think it's okay to just look at Tsujun Bridge from the roadside station.

    Tongrun Bridge の Near く

    Original Text

Although it is near Tsujun Bridge, it is currently under construction, so you have to detour to Tsujun Sanso. Honosuke Fuda, who has made great achievements in the development of this area, is enshrined in this shrine, irrigation canals, irrigation ponds, roads and bridges. It's a simple shrine, but it feels like it's blended into the local area.

    I've spent my life.

    Original Text

It is a shrine where Honosuke Fuda is enshrined. It is about 10 m above the famous Tsujun Bridge. He was a person who was in trouble with water problems at that time 々 who was committed to improving his life. Hiishi (used for Tsujun Bridge) is also embedded.
