This bridge is a water bridge built by a person named Honosuke Fuda to save people living in this area who suffered from chronic water shortages 々. This shrine was a shrine dedicated to Honosuke Fuda, who built a stone bridge with his life, as you can imagine from its name. There was a stone monument written as "Mizukami" in the precincts that were damaged during the Kumamoto earthquake. Honosuke Fuda is like a "mizukami" for people living in this area 々.
