Birds eye view with history!
Walking along the ridgeline in the forests, with views to the sea and the modern city, I can't help but imagine how it would have been in the times of the castle here. Across Toyama are similar such s...
You can clearly see the Tateyama mountain range. If you like to visit the ruins of the castle, you can enjoy it by parking your private car in the parking lot and walking a little. I visited in November and can see plants such as crow cucumbers. If you like cameras, I think it's a good place to take pictures of the Tateyama mountain range. At night, the night view of Toyama City is a large panoramic view!
JR Nishitoyama Station is the nearest, but it is too far. It takes about 2 hours to walk, but I don't recommend it very much because the roadway is the main. Since it is a castle ruin, there is no castle tower and there is a monument, but the view may be good because it is on a hill?
I think you can see the Tateyama mountain range beautifully in winter.

It is a castle ruin located on Kureha Hills, a 20-minute drive from Toyama Station. Although it is a castle ruin, there was no shape of the castle or stone wall, and it felt like a murky landscape. There was a staircase, and when you go up the law above, there was a square, and there was an observatory in the square. I could see the Tateyama mountain range, but it was gas because it was the end of April. I thought it would be beautiful in winter.
It's a pity that the remains of the castle ruins are hidden in grass!

You can access it by car. The remains are also magnificent, but it is a wasteful word because it is hidden by Ikansen, bamboo, bamboo, and grass. In particular, just mowing the grass around the main enclosure will bring out a magnificent castle ruins. It's a waste to have good access from the city.
