I thought it was just an observatory, so I drove up a narrow road. If you are close to the ski resort, you can go up to the observatory and open the view. Even if the visibility was limited by standing trees, the splendid spectacle spread from Mt. Ioo to the vicinity of Niigata Ohashi, including the village of Tonami, and I thought it was an unexpected spectacle. There was a view spot near Shogawa Onsenkyo, but although the panoramic feeling was a little narrow, I could see the village of Tonami well and thought it was barrier-free, so it was suitable for the elderly.
When I went to Yume no Taira Ski Resort to see Cosmos watching, if I took the lift to the top, there is an observatory overlooking the Tonami Plain on the opposite side of the ski resort. Scattered villages are a form in which houses do not make villages and each house is independent, and you can see better from the observatory than in the plains. The lift fee is as cheap as 420 yen for a round trip, so it is recommended.
If you drive up the mountain road from Shogawa Onsenkyo, you will find an observatory. It was the summer Obon season, but the greenery of the rice was very beautiful. This is a landscape called rural scenery in Japan.
There was an observation plaza on the mountain where there is a ski resort nearby. Even though it is a square, there are only benches and binoculars. The binoculars are high performance and you can see the scattered village well. In September, when I visited, I was able to see the contrasting landscape of green and brown.
It was also published in the textbook, so I wanted to see it once. Each house was separated, and the scenery with the sunset was very beautiful, especially during the paddy fields around 5 ~ September.
