Te Anau

Tianaau, located on the southeast shore of Lake Tianaau, a lakeside town with a small lake and mountainous population. Because of the traffic road to Milford Fjord, the town has become a transit station and base for visiting the fjord. Tourism service industry is the mainstay of the town.
