quiet park and walking trail with sea views
You can drive or walk up and along, watching the sea, Wakayama and Nushima island. There is some large brick structures , a little bit creepy, leftover from past wars.
The magnificent view of the Yura Fortress and the Kitan Strait is a highlight.

A park located in Yura CHO, Sumoto City, ikuishi Cape in the southeastern part of Awaji Island. In front of me, there was an observatory, a fortress site, Awaji Island Izushi Shrine, and Ikuishina Lighthouse where you can see the magnificent view of the Kitan Strait, which separates Awaji Island and Wakayama. It is a park with a good view on the top of the mountain in a park where the ruins of war remain. Because the view is good, a color 々 facility was built during the war. Especially brick facilities are raw 々
The Japanese army once built a fortress and still remains of the battery and fortress remains. You can overlook Wakayama and Kii Peninsula. Although it is a large park, there are few tourists and it is a great little-known spot to enjoy nature.
It wasn't maintained in the past, but it's been pretty clean since it was maintained a few years ago. You can drive to the top of the mountain, and the view of Osaka Bay and the Pacific Ocean from there is great. In addition, wartime air shelters are left, making it a valuable material.
