Mountain shrine in a peacful place

The shrine offers a beautiful view and is located in the nature. It has a very quiet and peaceful surrounding. Unlike many other shrines, this place is rarely visited which makes the visit worthwhile.

It is a shrine that enshrines Amenoshihomimi, the son of Amaterasu, and is located on Mt. Hiko, which has been called Hikosan since ancient times in "Mt. It is Hidehikoyama Jingu Shrine, where Yamabushi gathered in the Edo period and formed a town of about 3,000 people. In the past, it used to be difficult to climb the stairs, but now there is a slope car and it is convenient. It costs 840 yen for a round trip and drives every 20 minutes.
