It was nice, not enough places to stay we have to drive a long way away and stay in a not so nice place! Beach was beautiful, clean and easy parking.

Beautiful clean sandy beach. Great for those who like lots of fresh water waves and sand. Picnic pavilion, bathhouse, playground, snack bar and volleyball.

I bet the beach is crowded in summer
We visited after schools had opened, the beach was almost empty. I can see how it is a big attraction.
Bathrooms close early
We wanted some beach time in the evening after dinner, but by the time we got here (7pm), the restrooms had closed so we settled for a short walk. The lighthouse out in the pier was very pretty.
