    Switchbacks to the top!

    It is not an easy climb to the top of Beacon Rock. There are 62 switchbacks (or so, lost count early on). But you will be satisfied with the view and the accomplishment of making it.

    Great hike

    Visited Beacon Rock with Oregon locals who had recommended the hike. It took us about 30 mins to make the climb, but it was well worth the effort. Some great views of Columbia Gorge and its waterfalls...

    Great climb

    It took us 28 min up with a few photo breaks and 22 min down. Plenty of switch backs but the trail is well maintained. Be ready to climb around 60 stories according to my app
