It is about a 15-minute walk from JR Shiraishi Station, opposite Jorinji Temple, where the drums from the former Shiraishi Castle are stored. The founder of seirin Ji Temple located south of Shiraishi Jo castle was hozen Mitsui, a retainer of Yukimura Sanada. According to the guide board, Yukimura Sanada, the master general of the Toyotomi side, entrusted a girl (Ame) to shigenaga katakura, a senior vassal of the date family of the Tokugawa side, just before the fall of the castle. It is said that Shigenaga Katakura later took over the bereaved child of Yukimura and his retainers and made him live in Shiraishi Castle.
