Neilingding Island

The Neilingding Island-Futian Nature Reserve was established in October 1984 with a total area of about 921.64 hectares. It consists of two areas: Neilingding Island and Futian Mangrove Forest. Among them, the Futian Mangrove Forest is a nature reserve with a smaller area of forest and wildlife types. Neilingding Island is located in the southwest of Shenzhen, about 9 kilometers away from Shekou in the northeast. The area is 4.84 square kilometers. It was named Lingding Mountain because it lived alone in the sea, and it was later changed to distinguish it from Wailingding Island. The Neilingding Island Reserve is located on the east side of the Pearl River Estuary Neilingdingyang, with a total area of about 554 hectares, and Jianfeng Mountain is 340.9 meters above sea level. The peaks and green peaks of Neilingding Island are beautiful, green and green, and the beautiful waters are flowing. There are many kinds of plants, including 619 kinds of vascular plants, among which white osmanthus and wild lychees are the main protected plants of the state. Wildlife resources are also very rich. The main protected objects are the national second-class protected mammals, macaques, with a total of more than 900 animals. In addition, there are also major protected animals such as otters, pangolins, black-eared kites, pythons, and tiger frogs.
