明光寺景区，位于蒙山旅游区主峰龟蒙顶西北侧。深山藏古寺，寺史800余年，明光寺始建于元朝，清嘉庆年间扩建，原称“上元庵”，又名“鹿野苑”，明朝以后，为纪念明广僧尼，改名“明广寺”，后称“明光寺”，主体建筑分为大雄宝殿、观音殿、财神殿，佛教文化底蕴深厚、历史渊远。
