🏔️ “ Abuji Cho / Must visit again! ” ——— Shangri-La / May 🪨Abuji Cho, this dazzling pearl nestled at the foot of the Meili Snow Mountain, attracts countless tourists with its crystal-clear waters and the beautiful landscape of mountains and waters. The lake is clear and green, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, and the inverted image of the snow mountain, forming a breathtaking painting. Abuji Cho is surrounded by dense forests and pristine natural landscapes, making one feel the magic and beauty of nature. Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy moments of tranquility and beauty.

Abuji CuO is located in Xiaozhongdian Town, Shangri-La City, and is a niche spot very suitable for hiking that has not yet been developed (currently under development). The route will pass through forests, pastures, and Ajia Gang, and the scenery along the way is stunningly beautiful. Abuji CuO is a small lake hidden at an altitude of 4200 meters, surrounded by snow-capped mountains on three sides, and is filled with a variety of alpine rhododendrons and many high mountain plants. It is known as 'the purest place', deeply nestled among the lotus petal-shaped mountains, and the beauty here is like Alice in Wonderland. Here's a guide for everyone. Leave the old town at 8:00 in the morning. Arrive at the starting point of the hike around 9:30. The first stage is a warm-up phase to the supply point at the foot of the mountain The second stage is the 'Despair Slope', a continuous uphill climb to a rest area under a big tree (the hardest part of climbing Abuji CuO is now over) The third stage is a gentle road, which is a slight uphill climb. Along the way, you will see Ajia Gang, and those with megalophobia need to be careful. It ends at a platform (which is the best photo check-in spot) The fourth stage involves wading. Starting from the platform, you will pass through a small forest to reach the wading path, (the wading section is also called 'Little Despair Slope'). After crossing the Red Water section, you will reach a small lake, and then climb about 500 meters through the rocks to reach the lakeside (which is the end of the Abuji CuO hike). Take photos and check in, then return the same way.

Abuji Cho in Shangri-La is a place of purity, and also the closest hiking spot to Shangri-La. There are generally two routes, one for a round trip and one for a through hike. 🈲🈲🈲🈲 The starting point for the round trip is the Jiye Campsite (commonly known as the old route) which has particularly bad road conditions, so bumpy that you could be shaken to the sky on the ride~ The round trip is 8km, and although the route is short, it's almost entirely uphill (with an elevation gain of only 600 meters), and there's not much scenery to enjoy along the way! If you want to see Abuji Cho from a bird's eye view, you must go up the slope of despair above the lake, which is especially not recommended! Definitely do not take this route with a guide! (The total time for the route is 3 hours uphill and 1 hour downhill) The other route is the through hike, starting from Shangri-La, navigate to the Washbasin Pass (a smooth run all the way, reaching in half an hour), and the trailhead is just behind the parking lot. Although this route is 18.5km in total, the elevation gain is only 700m, and the whole way is full of fun picking mushrooms, with at least 5 times more scenery than the round trip route! And the first view of Abuji Cho is from a bird's eye view, without having to climb the slope of despair, but rather descending it. We set off on 9.20 and arrived at Abuji Cho to camp by 15:30. It only took one hour to descend the mountain the next day. Four people chartered a car (500 yuan, 125 yuan per person), with the driver picking us up at our doorstep, and waiting for us at the exit in advance in the afternoon, service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏻

📍Navigate to Deji Temple After arriving, there will be signs for Abujicuo, don't go to the temple, follow the signs and drive forward, you will see the checkpoint, local cars can enter by registering ID and license plate❗️(But there are also cars from other places inside, so it's not certain whether all cars can enter) Then keep going along the road, SUV is no pressure, walk down to the left of the road at the parking point! We didn't find a guide, but the road is very clear, just follow it, don't worry about getting lost, you will meet people along the way, you can ask~ ⛰️The whole hiking route is about 11 kilometers in total, we started from the hiking point at about 11:30, returned to the parking point at about 5:30 in the afternoon, it took 7 hours, because we spent a lot of time taking pictures. ⛰️The hiking route has 4 stages 1⃣️Parking point👉First rest point The journey is flat, you can walk leisurely, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery all the way, there are places to sell things at the rest point, the huge mountain is right in front of you, shocking! Grassland, cattle and sheep, sea of flowers, very photogenic 2⃣️ Despair slope👉Second rest point Despair slope, novice Xiaobai really desperate, because all the way up, you will quickly feel the heartbeat speed up, I can even hear the heartbeat thumping sound, will be very panting, tired must rest, eat something drink some water rest After that, it's much better. 3⃣️Third rest point👉Waterfall When you reach the third rest point, you will find that the view is wide open, many people rest here, you can eat here to replenish your strength, don't forget to take pictures, it's really great❗️You will find that the mountain is closer to you. 🌟PS: Although there is a garbage pit here, I still hope everyone can collect their own garbage and bring it down the mountain. Seeing a large pile of garbage in such a beautiful scenery, it's uncomfortable From the rest point, you will soon see the waterfall, there is another climb in this section, everyone must maintain their own rhythm, I ran and jumped all the way, didn't climb two steps, and started to speed up the heartbeat, don't learn from me, although I didn't have high anti, but It still consumes a lot of physical strength. 4⃣️Waterfall👉Lake After climbing the waterfall, there will be a section of gravel mountain, which is relatively flat. Seeing the prayer flags in the distance, Abujicuo is there! The weather changes suddenly in this section, it starts to rain, the fog is filled, the temperature drops, and even the hands are a bit cold, but when you climb to the prayer flag point, the emerald-like Abujicuo appears in front of you, you will find that all the fatigue is worth it! When going down the mountain, the knees, thighs, and toes will hurt, so don't wear too tight shoes, remember to stretch after the end. The weather is unpredictable, bring a storm jacket. I gave my first hike to Abujicuo, novice friendly❗️Respect❗️There will be a bit of a feeling of unfinished after going down the mountain, some people say that there are only zero times and countless times for hiking, then look forward to the next time!

Starting from the Washbasin Pass, a 30-kilometer journey will take you to the secret realm of Abujicao. The snow is heavy on the trail today, which will affect the hiking time. The path becomes difficult to navigate starting from the first pasture, and it's better to set out in the morning. In the afternoon, the melted snow makes the road muddy, so it's advisable to prepare shoe covers. There is basically no signal, and the entire journey takes about 11 hours, mainly due to the challenging terrain.

The entrance to heaven, Abujicho, is not afraid of high mountains and long roads. The mountains and rivers have given back the most amazing scenery. The eight hours of disconnection from the world, for me, the process is more important than the result. If the heart has something to look forward to, why fear the long road ahead. So don't listen to the whispers of the world, go and see the scenery you like. What is the scenery on the road, maybe it's never important, but the scenery on the top of the mountain is definitely worth it. Let's all go and find our happy selves.

I finally got to see Abuji, a place planned to depart at the end of August, which translates in Tibetan as a magical place, located deep in the mountains of Xiaozhongdian Town, Shangri-La City, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Before departure, I was always worried about the weather, really wanted to see the scene of the sun shining completely over the surface of Abuji Cho Lake. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful, the clouds were foggy when I started climbing, and the fog was lingering, as if I was in a different world. Stepping on the soft grassland and gradually climbing, the sun also began to show its face, I saw a completely different scenery: the top of the snow mountain where no grass grows like the gray rocks and gravel in 'The Lord of the Rings' with a sense of fantasy, the fog rising from the dense forest, and the warm and comfortable endless alpine grassland. Including the guide, there were four people in the team, and I was the only girl. I joked along the way that I was a VIP, but I really benefited from the care of the guide and teammates on the road. Along the way, we laughed and talked, played music with speakers, and the guide even found wild berries under the tree for us! My knees are not good on a daily basis, and the guide always reminds me to slow down when I go downhill, and will kindly give me his knee pads. Fortunately, I finished the whole 18km (I can't justify the guide brother who helped me all the way, took pictures and persuaded me to eat) After finally going down the mountain, I looked back at the road I had come, and even I felt a bit incredible, so some roads you must walk by yourself to understand the real meaning!

When making the strategy, I found that there are many routes in Abuji Cu, new lines, old lines back and forth, and circular lines. The most people should walk the old line back and forth. If you don't want to be too tired, you can choose this one, but the scenery is greatly discounted. This time we walked the new through the old 18km+, I unilaterally declared that this is the most worthwhile route! The landscape is rich in layers, passing through the original jungle, plateau meadows, streams and waterfalls, alpine lakes, and you can see the layers of mountains when you look back. When you get to the pass, you can overlook the whole lake, and then continue to look at the blue lake from another angle. The whole route is clear and no guide is needed, the scenery is excellent and you can take pictures at will. 7:30am The ancient city carpooling departure (400/round trip) 8:30am Arrive at the starting point washbasin pass 6:30pm Arrive at the end of Xiaozhongdian Town, the chartered driver will wait here. There is a 10km bad road under construction when you go out of the mountain, you need to drive an off-road vehicle The first half of the journey is a small hill, a more gentle route, but the uphill is still quite tired, after all, it is high altitude, if you feel breathless, stop and rest to adjust. The second half is the return journey of the old line, all downhill, not tired but waste knee. If you want to shoot the full line landscape, I strongly recommend this line. The old line will be closed in autumn and winter, and the full line is clear Follow the track and you will not get lost. There are commercial teams going back and forth every day, and you can ask for directions at any time The pass can overlook the panoramic view of Abujicuo The wind is very strong, so strong that the heavy tripod will shake with the heavy bag, and it will continue from noon to the next morning Long exposure of the starry sky is basically impossible to operate, and the time-lapse of sunset and sunrise can barely be shot The abandoned 1-4 pastures are also excellent locations for shooting blue tones and grand scenes The Tianbao Snow Mountain Group in the distance stands at various angles Tips： Abujicuo has started to build roads. It is expected to become a scenic spot in two or three years. Now the new line has local motorcycles and off-road vehicles to pick up customers. The safety is generally recommended to walk. There are many shooting points along the way. It's a pity to miss the stop.

| Abujico.🏡City: Yunnan 📍Location: Deqin Shangri-La City Abujico ✨Features: Small and popular hiking route, less people and beautiful scenery! 🐾Hiking Guide (June): This time we took Abu to hike through Abujico, the itinerary was planned for three days and two nights, a total of 42 kilometers, a closed route. 1️⃣Day1 12km, 📍Washbasin Pass Parking Lot-Sea Ranch: The sea on the road is basically waterless, there are two streams along the way, there is a sea with water at the sea ranch, which is relatively small, bring a filter, the water source has more impurities. 2️⃣Day2 12km Sea Ranch-3rd Camp: Over 5 passes, the average altitude is close to 4400, the scenery is the best, passing through Abujico, it is also the hardest day of hiking, it is very tired to cross the pass, and it has been hiking until 12 o'clock in the evening to reach the camp. 3️⃣Day3 18km 3rd Camp-Washbasin Pass: There is almost no water source in the 3rd camp, and it took half an hour to get two bottles of water at the source, which must be filtered by a filter. Walk 2 kilometers to the 4th camp, where there is a water source, to the lake, there is a ranch wooden house, the scenery is very beautiful, the 4th camp to the east ring line is basically a mechanized road, and then walk 5 kilometers along the east ring line back to the washbasin pass. Off-road vehicles can drive to the 4th camp, and the road conditions are very bad. · ✨Note reminder: From the perspective of scenery and route difficulty, this time is a good experience, it's a pity that there is no water in the sea this season, but the scenery along the way is still very beautiful!
