Amazing relaxing experience, loved that the different pools had different temperatures. And nice that it is right by a creek. We don't have anything close to this like this in New Jersey.
I liked Montezuma Hot Springs. It's rustic and not really developed...which is fine by me. Really liked the 6ft deep "hot" pool. Plus its free and easy to find...right off the side of the road....
It's up a canyon, and not very well developed, so not for the ritzy oriented. For those of us who can scramble muddle little paths to random size little hot springs, it was fab! Strong sulphur smel...
A series of pools of varying degrees of warmth right near a river. Some are difficult to get into because of rockiness and slippery moss. We were told the predominant mineral is lithium and not sulfur...

Great time at Montezuma Hot Springs
