We actually like this place better than port Arthur and it is free to enter. Do the walk up to the signal station and read the history. Very interesting place. Often very quiet too unlike Port Arthur.
Lovely setting to walk through and at the same time learn more about the history of Tasmania and Australia. There's not much left of the buildings but what is left is worth seeing

Worth a visit
We actually like this place better than port Arthur and it is free to enter. Do the walk up to the signal station and read the history. Very interesting place. Often very quiet too unlike Port Arthur.
Old ruins. Nothing new.
Typical old ruins. Need to use your imagination a LOT to picture what it was like... But well worth the drive regardless.
