I parked my car in the parking lot of the Cultural Information Center in Onna Village, and there was the Nakadomari Ruins across the road. This ruins had four shell mounds and caves in the Jomon period, and old cobblestone roads. At the entrance of the ruins, there was a stone monument written as "Historic Site Nakadomari Ruins", and there was an explanation board next to it. It is said that the remains of the Iwain residence 3,500 years ago have been discovered at Nakadomari Third Shell Mound.
It is an archaeological site consisting of the remains of the Kaizuka era and the cobblestone road leading to Shuri Wangfu. The Kaizuka ruins are said to be the first to be discovered as the remains of a rocky residence.
Standing here, looking at the sea, and walking along the road, you can realize that in ancient times, Ryukyu people were fishing and living looking at the sea. It will be a good opportunity to look back at yourself.
It's right next to the Onna Village Museum, so it's a good idea to visit it together. A cliff rises gently from the flat ground, and the road from the Ryukyu era is climbing on your right. I saw the road and found it very old, but I couldn't see the older ruins just by looking at it.
