Do you know "Dairenji"? Dairenji is a temple of the Jodo sect in Odawara City, the mountain name is Mt. Inari, and the principal image is Amida Nyorai. It is said to have been opened in 1461 and is also the 32nd temple of the Fukurokuju Ashigara 33 Kannon of the Seven Lucky Gods of Odawara. When you enter the precincts, there is a main hall at the end of the approach and you can see the well-maintained garden. You can also see the stone structure of Fukurokuju. It is located a short walk south (sea side) from the eastern end of Nishikaikoji. It enshrines the Seven Lucky Gods of Odawara and Fukurokuju. At the 32nd sacred place of Ashigara 33 Kannon Sacred Ground, the Odawara Seven Lucky Gods Tour Fukurokuju will be on the left hand side of the main hall. On this day, the rows of cherry blossom trees in Nishikaikoji, which are nearby, were not good, but the cherry blossoms at the entrance were in full bloom and were wonderful. I wasn't visiting the Seven Lucky Gods, but I took a detour.
