Torioi Kannon Nyohoji Temple is one of the best Kannon sacred places that was founded by Tokuichi Daishi, the founder of Buddhist metropolitan city, as the Western Pure Land of Aizu in the early Heian period ２ (８０７) 1,200 years ago. It is called "Torioi Kannon" or "Korori Kannon", and it means that it has come to gather the faith of many men and women of all ages. The carvings of three monkeys are hidden, and it is not possible to find that there is a hesitation in the mind (^^;
