Extensively reconstructed Iron Age fort mostly made out of local stones. Welcome center was closed when we visited but we were able to walk around and inside the walled settlement. Very interesting.
It was built in the southeast of the island of Öland, on the beach of Stora Alvare, it dates of the iron age and has been widely reconstructed and expanded in the middle age.
