Now you can go to the honmaru site and the castle tower site.
I climbed from the road inside to the ruins of the main enclosure and the castle tower. It is said to be the southernmost tip of the castle ruins where the castle tower was located. If you stop by Tsurumatsukan, you can get a guide map of Satohara Castle and get information.

It is a visit by car. Parking and admission fee are free. The Historical Museum is also free. Due to the influence of the typhoon, I couldn't climb the Honmaru site even at the time of ２０２０ Year １２ Moon. The climbing road that can go halfway is narrow and quaint. Stamps can be stamped at the History Museum.

Due to a typhoon landslide, you should not go to the main enclosure. We were able to hear interesting stories from the volunteer guide, such as "I threw stones from above in a passage that cut the bedrock to prevent the enemy from invading."
