Misfat al Abriyyin

The ancient village of Misfat Abye, about a 3-hour drive from Nizwa, still retains its original appearance. The small houses in the village are located on the slopes. Ancient canals run through, dense vegetation, lush swathes of date palms, a desert oasis, a pretty village nestled between two deep ravines. Dry mountains contrast with lush palm gardens. When it comes to the luxuriant crops, the countless ditches that crisscross the orchards are indispensable. They travel under the stones, connecting the canyons.
