Stone Arch Bridge

Stone Arch Bridge is a former railroad bridge across the Mississippi River at St. Anthony Falls in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is the only stone arch bridge across the Mississippi River. It is the second oldest bridge on the river. It was completed in 1883. At a cost of $650,000, it is now used as a pedestrian and bicycle bridge.

Very old bridges have hundreds of years of history and are not long or grand testimony to the history of American architecture. They are just stones with a great sense of beauty walking on them as recommended back hundreds of years ago.

Minneapolis Stone Arch Bridge across the Mississippi River was built in 1883, 640 meters long and 8.5 meters wide. It was then used to connect the two sides of the railway system and is now listed as a national historic building.

For a country like the United States that has not had many years of history, this bridge is also very old. Standing on the bridge, you can see the high buildings in the center of the city. There are also ruins parks on the east side of the bridge.

The Chinese people who used to see stone arch bridges seem to have a sense of invisibility to this ordinary stone bridge, but in the local area, the bridge is still quite appreciated and remembered.
