this is a former post town.

It is a museum on the post-dori of Takumi no Sato. It seems that it was built on the site of Wakimotojin. Although it is not a large building, ancient documents, tools, collections, and kago at that time are on display. This is a valuable spot that shows that this was once a post town. If you are interested in the history of Sukawa-juku or Mikuni Kaido, you should visit it.

Walking from Takumi no Sato. However, is that road the old Mikuni Kaido? A wide and straight road. It's a ridiculously splendid road. This is the site of the main camp used for the former Sankin change. Exhibits, including baskets, are travel tools. It's pretty tight. The exhibition was more lively than I had imagined.
