Lowell National Historical Park

A working cotton mill, interactive demonstrations, canal tours, and more are on offer in this park that has preserved a sizable swath of historic downtown Lowell. The park also has activities for kids, sponsors events like the Folk Festival and summer music series, and fosters the activities at other local museums, like the Quilt, Textile, and Streetcar museums.

Lowell National Historic Park is part of the US National Park Unit. It tells the story of textile industry of mass production. It is spread out over serveral blocks. There is trolley transportation in summer. Disability access is provided with some walking distance. Disability parking is limited in the area. You will need about 1 hour to 2 hours to visit the site.
