Originally founded in the 1930s, they moved into this new home in 1979 with first performances the following year. It’s an impressive building with modern features in what, it was interesting to learn, was a former Synagogue dating from the mid 1850s. A varied and engaging program of performances is presented every year.

First visit to this cracking little theatre and we were not disappointed. The show Snatched starring Melissa Johns was electric, funny and sad but beautifully played. The theatre had everything thing we needed and the staff were absolutely tip top. On our list for another visit.
