There are several trails to choose from, allowing you to see the several beautiful lakes, along with the wonderful plants and trees growing all around. Take a break at one of the many quiet pavillions or have a picnic on the open grass, this place caters for all visitors! Be sure to visit the impressive pagoda bridge over the lake and walk across for magnificent views on both sides. You can visit here anytime of year and take amazing photos or videos and have fun. A comfortable, warm, and fulfilling spring journey, I chose the train's soft sleeper for the round trip. Setting off in the glow of the setting sun, I sat by the train window, slowly sipping tea while enjoying the scenery, imagining a pleasant trip~ Liuzhou is a city with a pace at half speed. Coming here from the twice-as-fast Shenzhen, both body and soul relax and soften. The local food is not limited to Luosifen, although Luosifen is also very delicious. The first time I tried fried snail noodles and Luosifen with fried egg and duck feet, it was very fragrant. My favorite was the cold mixed beef offal I had in Yaobu ancient town, a bit spicy, but just right with a bottle of strong cold iced black tea I bought from the convenience store next door, a perfect match. I enjoyed it so much that I finished two big bowls of white rice. I'm still craving it now 😋 The next day, I got up early to catch the Qingyun morning market, where I tasted the local specialty sticky rice and a variety of small tea snacks. 📍About the route: On the first evening, after visiting Yaobu Ancient Town, we headed straight to Shengli Barbecue City. I felt that Yaobu Ancient Town was too commercialized, with uniform costume rentals and photography services. If you're not interested in dressing up for photos, you might as well skip it, as the night view is just so-so. On the second day, we set off early in the morning for Longtan Park. If you want to capture those beautiful spots, I suggest arriving by 9:30 am to avoid the frustrating queues. The route for the photo spots is in my previous note. In the afternoon, we visited the Industrial Museum, where the red wall is really beautiful. After dinner, we arranged for a tea bran hair wash, which is a must-try! It's very relaxing~ 🏨About accommodation: Yishang Hotel (Five Star Pedestrian Street Branch), Liuzhou's accommodation is dddd, this one has a good environment and is clean, with a superior location. The tea bran hair wash is on the 12th floor of this building, and the environment is so much better than on the street. 🍜About food: Here are the recommended places. Overall, don't chase after internet-famous spots too much, nor should you avoid them entirely.
