Noisy and nothing to do
Lake Wales has little culture and lots of run down areas. If you visit anywhere near downtown expect to hear car stereos booming all day and late at night.
Definitely worth the time to check it out.

Quaint
I lived here and worked here for 14 years. Small town charm You have to see Spook Hill, Bok tower and I helped establish the Depot Museum, a local history museum in 1976.
