    Mingdao Village Zhengの House Pasture

    Kannon

    Original Text

From Nishi Kuwana Station, it was very close when I got off at the 1 Mado Station on the Sanki Railway Hokusei Line. It is an old temple dedicated to Kannon. The precincts were said to be the site of Yada Castle during the Sengoku period, and the area was a park.

There was a Buddha foot stone.

    Original Text

When I went up the stone steps, there was a bell tower on my right and the main hall in front of me. There were several cats around the main hall and they were basking in the sun.

The oldest temple and shrine architecture in Kuwana city

    Original Text

It seems that it was destroyed by Oda Nobunaga when there was a castle during the Warring States period. The main hall was rebuilt in the Edo period and still exists, and it is said to be the oldest temple and shrine architecture in Kuwana city.
