Relaxing, fun & scenic...
A scenic, relaxing a fun activity when the beaches aren't safe for anything. You can climb, and hike to other swimming holes, jump into the main pool, swing into the main lake... And even have a picni...
It was popular as a spot to enjoy nature, but a series of fatal accidents have banned swimming. The atmosphere is close to the river near Marius Falls on Iriomote Island.
I think the slope will slip considerably after the rain. The basin has a nice atmosphere, but I do not recommend going alone because there are various 々 risks. It is recommended because it is easy to approach for those who like exploration.
It is located in the deep forest of Kunigami Village. However, it is closed after the 2017 year of water accident. There is also danger as you have to go down a steep slope. Swimming in the waterfall basin was prohibited, but many people played here and the death toll was continuous, so it was off limits. It is a place that is becoming famous as a psychic spot.
There is a place called Tanagagumui, which is suitable for calling it an unexplored region in the depths of the forest of Yanbaru (northern Okinawa). I've been there for about three years, but maybe it's getting more and more famous, I've seen more people even during the daytime on weekdays. Tanager means shrimp, and Gumui means a place where water accumulates such as springs and a pool. The official name here is called the plant community of Tanagargumui, but as the name suggests, it is a rare endangered species in a place designated as a natural monument.

It's a steep slope that slips and falls.

It's like a waterfall in a dense forest jungle!
