It was close to Kozenji Temple in Komagane, and it was attractive to see it standing quietly in the lush green plateau. I thought it was a valuable heritage that conveys the life of farmers in the Edo period to the present.

It is a wonderful Japanese architecture made of large black pillars and large beams on the thatched roof. It seems that the neighboring Western-style building and the Japanese and Western-style building are competing. You can imagine the life of an upper-class farmer who has a large site and a large floor plan in the Edo period.
The house of Genkichi of the Takemura family, who served as the master of 々 during the Edo period, was transferred by the city to the house in Nakazawa Otsuwatari in Komagane City and moved to the side of the Komagane Folk Museum. It is designated as a nationally designated important cultural property. You can see the tiled roof nearby, and the thickness is quite amazing! Inside, the old appearance such as the horse shop, the dirt floor, the kitchen, and the living room is exhibited as it is. The parking lot is large next to the tennis court opposite. You can also see the local hall for admission.
