Delicious and Beautiful
Right next door to an old Samurai house there is this gem. It has a tea shop in the center of the original building surrounded by gardens, and a room for a koto. The house is in it's original style wi...
This is a former samurai residence open to the public. There is a cafe inside and we enjoyed maccha ice cream. Take your time to admire the gardens as well as the residence itself.
A facility that can be entered for free while there are many paid facilities. It is presumed to be a building at the end of the Edo period, and the wall soil and pillars have been reused and restored as much as possible aiming at the state at the time of construction. At the entrance, there is a guide board that says that admission is free politely, so it is very easy to understand. Samurai residence where you can have tea and meals
Original Text
Admission is free and you can have tea and meals. It is a spacious samurai residence with a large site. Souvenirs are also sold and you can easily enter.
It's not as big as the Ohara residence, but you can see the inside of the residence and the garden. From Oita Airport to Oita Station (be careful because the high-speed bus does not pass around here) arrives at the kitsuki bus terminal in 30 minutes 々 and JR from kitsuki station to Kunito in 10 minutes. There is a tourist information center in about 30 seconds on foot. The "Kitsuki Town Walking Plan" with coupons that can be used at tourist facilities and designated stores is also sold at the tourist information center. About 10 minutes walk from the tourist information center.
