Situated at the rear of the church leading down to the river. I counted 77 steps, which is more than the original number. Quite steep but there are hand rails.

We declined the steps on our visit as it was raining and it’s a steep and slippery climb, but the walk from the Devils Bridge was very calming

These ancient steps start in the church yard ang go down steeply to the river and the view Ruskin said was the best in the country.

Amazing sights

Vert steep steps, make sure you hold the handrails on the way down. This is a nice walk and the views are simply wonderful
