Helvellyn

Mount Helvelin is located in the southwest of Ullswater Lake (Ullswater), at 950 meters above sea level, is the third highest peak in Cumbria. Helvelin Mountain has a challenging hiking route. The classic climbing route involves two ridges, StrdingEdge and SwirralEdge. It is very steep. Some places require hands and feet to pass, and there is no protection. It is not recommended for those who are afraid of heights. The regular hiking routes pass through Glenridding or Paterdale. Due to the changeable weather on the mountain, like other mountaineering routes, be sure to pay attention to the weather forecast and prepare all necessary equipment supplies before you travel.
