I've seen it many times on people TV.

I visited because I thought it was amazing to see drone shooting many times. The waves in the sea were rough, the direction of surfing, and in fact, there were surfers, so I was a little impressed. The tachijiniwa of Kanjin is not close, so it may be immaculate just to look at it from a distance.
It is a basalt rock of natural monument in Karatsu City, just off the free parking lot.

It is just a short walk away from the car in the parking lot. There is also an explanation board at the entrance, and a large basalt rock stands out as a natural monument designated by Karatsu City. It was said that a big rock stood 2, but it seemed to be about 3. Parking is free but not so much can be stopped
From Yobuko to Karatsu City, it is a megalith in the Minato district, R204 by the sea. If you look at it in a set with Nanatsukama, you can feel the wonders of nature. Free parking 5 Walking from the platform (with toilets) you can see a splendid rock. The sea is also beautiful and the scenery is the best.
Strange rocks. It's more interesting from a distance.

A large rock stood like a man on the sea. There are parking lots and toilets nearby, but it seems interesting to see this rock from a little west of the national highway to get a panoramic view of the whole picture.
A spot to stop by regardless of the season when you go to Karatsu. The birthplace of Kyushu surfing, which can be reached in about 20 minutes by car from the center of Karatsu. The beautiful rock called Meotoiwa, which can be seen at the end of the cactus, is a must-see.

Beautiful rock full of exoticism
