Not much to talk about its right next to station so might as well take a look. Kids seem to like playing at pulling it! Kill some time here and at the plaza if you have to wait for your booked train.
Izukogen Station seems to be a "Ekinaka" shopping mall called "Yamamo Plaza". There is something that has changed to the square in front of the station. It's like a big rock. It has a rope that carries it. It is a "Edo Castle Stone". It is a stone used for the stone wall of Edo Castle by the order of Ieyasu Tokugawa. This stone weighs 11 tons and is a "stone with 300 people". It seems that many stones were carried by stone ships from the Izu Peninsula.
It is not particularly surrounded by fences, and when you go out of the station, it is placed in the planting place in front of you, rather casually. If there is no explanation version next to it, it seems that it is illusion that the material under construction or something is placed. It was interesting that it was exhibited so that you could see the state of transportation rather than simply putting stones on it. It's right in front of the station building, so I think it's a good idea to stop by casually.
Edo Castle is a Japanese castle located in Edo, Toyoshima-gun, Musashino province. It was in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo today. It is also called Chiyoda Castle.
A huge stone bound by rope is installed in front of Izu Kogen Station. Many people were taking commemorative photos while pulling the rope. Please wait for the train!

It's a stone with three hundred people.

Suddenly in front of the station
